Hello dear flat trackers!!
I’m very excited that we’ll soon be starting the first race day with you, the “Hesse Flat,” the first round of the German Flat Track Cup!!
Registrations have been received. Please check if the class divisions and other information are correct: DIEDENBERGEN starting field (so far)
If you notice any errors, please let me know. We will provide the exact heat schedules on site.
Since there will probably be some questions about the schedule, here is the current schedule:
Latest information about Hesse Flat
If you arrive on Thursday, please simply find a parking space. We will complete all formalities when the race office opens at 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
Mandatory:
1. DMSB Racecard / C-License
2. Disclaimer (sent via email) /
3. Clubsport entry form
4. Successful technical inspection
1. DMSB Racecard for the race:
All drivers need a DMSB license – either an annual license (e.g., Level C for track racing) or a Racecard. Please apply for this in good time via the DMSB website (this is no longer possible for the C-License shortly before the race!!). Important: Select “No sports department” when prompted for data.
(Note: When applying for a C license, you must select “Sports department” if you want to receive the discount for an ADAC membership. Then select the ADAC association and enter your ADAC membership number. See instructions: https://www.german-flattrack.de/racecard/
DMSB Racecard (valid for one race and costs €28.50)
or
a DMSB “C-License Track Racing” (valid for one year at a price of €93, with an ADAC membership at a price of €55). Not available at short notice!
2. Liability waiver (attached to the email):
Absolutely required! No participation without a signature. Those who have already attended MSC training this year are usually already registered – please indicate this when registering.
3. Entry form Track Racing Club Racing (attached to the email; double starters must complete two forms). Please complete legibly, print, and bring with you. We will clarify any payment ambiguities on site. Double starters must complete two forms.
4. technical inspection: see schedule:
Details regarding technical inspection:
A back protector (without a specific standard) and a helmet with EC 22/05 (or 22/06) are essential. Next year, ONLY helmets with ECE 22/06 are permitted!!
A one-piece suit is NOT mandatory.
Training on May 30th:
Simply add your name to the participant list at the race office – that’s enough. Those who have signed the liability waiver are covered by liability insurance. Note: ADAC/DMV members also have (additional) accident insurance, which includes additional coverage (disability, etc.). A DMV day membership (€10 on-site) is possible, but not mandatory.
Late arrival? No problem – the race office isn’t staffed all the time, but someone will always be there.
Race Schedule:
There are four heats for the riders in each class. Due to the size of the groups, up to 12 riders can start. The heat schedules will be posted on-site (thanks, Kosta!).
Pre-start & Organization:
Our friend “Stolzi” will be in charge of the pre-start, and Matze Stucke will be the referee. A folding board shows the class and heat number (thanks, Frank & Raphaela).
During practice, we will race in two groups, divided into classes: Rookies & Classic.
Food & Drinks:
On Friday & Saturday, food & drinks will be provided by the MSC (bratwurst/beef sausage, steaks, fries) – Stand 1 in the corner.
Thank you for your participation!
Thanks to the GFT, Jens, and many more for your support!!
See you on Thursday/Friday! Have a safe trip!
Best regards,
Felix Haas
